This is the WIP preview of the
upcoming Ancients December 2009 release, RHM5002 "Medusa
the Gorgon". She will have two weapon options of a bow
or a Greek sword with a quiver or sheath for her belt. The
Greek sword will also have her hand sculpted on it for an
easy weapon choice.
She is
scheduled for a

- Ancient Gladiatorial Cyclops", The Ancients. He's approximately 45mm and
contains 1 miniature that will make any one of the four
configurations pictured and 1 50mm Round Plastic Slotted
Base and 2 character cards. He's supplied with an
optional bare head, helmeted head, hammer, and trident
weapon options. These also may be positioned at different
angles for complete customization of the miniature. We've
returned from ACD Distribution's Games Day Event and
we had a fantastic time. Thank you to all the
retailers that stopped by our booth to demo our Rusted

for hosting the show we really had a great time and a lot of
great feedback from all the retailers that we were able to
speak with. We were so busy demoing Rusted Heroes
non-stop that we were only able to snap off a couple of

We've survived
another year of GenCon Indy. The response this year
was fantastic, we demoed the Rusted Heroes game a lot all
four days and the overall consensus was that everyone really
liked the game and the miniatures.One fan has a blog called "The Hopeless Gamer" and he has posted a blurb about our Rusted Heroes Game that we demoed for him at the show, you can read his entry by CLICKING HERE. 2009 NEWS
We
had a private game of Rusted Heroes with eight players and
fifty miniatures on the battlefield. It was the
largest game we've ever played to date and it was awesome...
lots of epic clashes through out the game.We played a "King of the Hill" scenario with the bridge being the designated hill. We had the Knights of the Rose versus the Norse Invaders and with some Dragon Knights joining the fray for the later arrivals. The Norse had a few more models but they were no match for the KotR's tough armor and sharp blades. The Norse Invaders won the scenario by scoring the most points by holding the bridge but at the cost of most of their warriors being killed off. All the
character cards for our pre-launch at GenCon are at the printers
along with the quick start rules and they should be arriving this
week. In the mean time we've been busy prepping all the packaging
for the launch. We will be updating the Rusted Heroes site multiple
times over the next few weeks so look for lots of new minis and
preview updates. A note on the pre-launching character cards, these will not be the final cards once we officially launch later this year. We haven't had enough time to get all the miniatures painted for their portraits on the cards for the pre-launch. So some have artwork and some will simply be the actual Primered miniature. So these could be collectable to some degree. Also while supplies last we'll have uncut character card sheets for those that purchase all three War Band Faction box sets.
